Christmas came early for these two lovebirds when they became husband and wife on 12.21.19 and threw one heck of a party for their family friends!
Amanda & Kenny first met on separate (!!) friend group trips to Las Vegas. Like, what are the odds of that happening – and then working out? At the time, Kenny lived in Arizona but he soon realized that Kansas City was the place for him because that’s where Amanda was.
These two share a zest for life that is contagious to be around. Together, Amanda & Kenny and their friends know how to celebrate life and all of the adventures it brings. No wonder their love story began the way it did!
Amanda & Kenny carried a timeless style throughout their wedding day, from Amanda’s classic gown (with pockets!) and Kenny’s tuxedo to their red and white floral design to their live band at their reception.

After a relaxing morning getting ready, Kenny came to the Aloft Hotel in Leawood to see his bride Amanda for the first time. Thanks to the hotel’s kind staff, we were able to reserve the 2nd floor balcony for this special private moment for the two of them.

Next we headed to the Prairiefire area in south Leawood for photos. In the winter, there’s little greenery around Kansas City, and that’s when tall grass can save the day! These soft golden grasses can provide a gorgeous glowing backdrop to wintry portraits.
