Ashley & Brandon | Engaged

Ashley & Brandon are one of my favorite couples to be around. They’re cool, confident, and just plain fun. I don’t think I ever stopped smiling when I was with these two. Most importantly, these two are completely comfortable with each other. I’ve never met a couple that can communicate so openly and honestly together. I’m just so impressed by how well these two know each other. Their comfort in one another is 100% relationship goals. But maybe that’s how it is when you’ve known each other as long as these two have. Their marriage is a long time coming, after many bumps in the road. I don’t know who’s more excited for their upcoming wedding – Ashley & Brandon or their friends and family!

Ashley & Brandon both grew up in Kansas City, but they now call Florida home. (They literally got in their car and moved to Florida after we finished our engagement session!) Because they were leaving a city they both love, they wanted to use their engagement session as a chance to capture their love in some of their favorite KC spots. I can’t think of a better way to capture these memories! Brandon is a huge Chiefs fan, so of course we jumped at the chance to spend some time out at Arrowhead Stadium. It was almost eery having the place to ourselves! After a quick outfit change we made our way to the Crossroads Arts District to capture some of Kansas City’s downtown splendor and skyline.
