A Timeless KC Celebration at The Guild

Alexa & Hunter’s Saturday celebration was packed with elegance, Alabama (their alma mater!), ABBA playlists (my fav!) and oh so much FUN! These two lovebirds have been dreaming up this special day ever since their paths crossed on on those hallowed Alabama grounds and wow was is so worth the wait!

Alexa & Hunter both got ready separately at the Loews in downtown Kansas City. Hunter and his crew spent the morning swapping fraternity memories and sipping whiskey. In Alexa’s suite, her bridesmaids played the ultimate hype role keeping the beats bumping and the champagne flowing!

After their first look, Alexa & Hunter and their wedding party walked to the Kauffman Center for portraits. Alexa’s vision for the entire day was light, bright elegance, so Kauffman was the *perfect* backdrop for them! After we finished with wedding party portraits, we sent their crew onto the trolley so Alexa & Hunter could share some extra private time together on their wedding day. We took full advantage of Kauffman’s beautiful variety before it was time to send them off to the ceremony!

After Alexa & Hunter’s church ceremony, it was time to get them to cocktail hour! I love when couples get to enjoy this extra time with their guests. While they were mingling & snacking on delicious hors d’oeuvres, I photographed their stunning reception space before any guests got to see it.

After a delicious dinner and lovely toasts, the Patrick Lentz Band kept the dance floor packed all night long! And when you needed a break, you could step into The Guild’s courtyard for fresh air or a custom monogrammed cigar.
