When COVID hands you a pile of lemons while you’re planning your wedding, what else can you do but shake ’em up and make champagne? Back in May, a dream team of KC wedding vendors came together to create an elegant Union Station engagement session to give away to one lucky couple planning their wedding in the middle of this chaos.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

On Friday night we got to bring that celebration to life by showering Megan & Mike with a pampered engagement session! And WOW did the team deliver! I mean, how often do you get the Grand Hall at Union Station entirely to yourself, adorned with beautiful florals, followed by a champagne toast with a vintage Bentley? And don’t even get me started on this *smoke show* of a couple! These two sure know how to look amazing!

Megan & Mike’s relationship has withstood long distance, intensive training schedules, deployments, actual quarantine, and so much more. But their relationship is also steadfastly optimistic. Not only did we have a blast at their engagement session, but they extended the celebration by planning an extra fancy date night dinner and staycation. How’s that for making lemonade?

Pierpont’s is one of my favorite restaurants in Kansas City! It’s gorgeous and delicious. And did you know that they provide the catering for all Union Station events? Total win-win!⠀⠀
