I love capturing real, raw, radiant moments for the brightest of souls with the biggest of love. Learn more...
Say hello to the newest newlyweds, Bree & Jake!
These two lovebirds first met at work and bonded over their jobs’ mediocrity. Bree jokes that they found love in a hopeless place 😉 But not long after their futures turned significantly brighter when Jake popped the question in Mexico during a perfect beach sunset!
What I love about Bree & Jake is how effortlessly comfortable they are with each other. Just being around them, you can tell that their personalities fit perfectly together and complement each other in the best ways. Throughout their wedding planning process, Bree was the detail person while Jake focused on big picture matters. And together they created the most perfect wedding day!
Bree’s dress was timeless perfection with a few modern details that made it POP! It was perfect for her 🙂
The day began at the Embassy Suites in Olathe where Bree and her bridesmaids were primped and polished in their comfy gray robes. After a first look with her bridesmaids and her father, Bree shared a first look with her beau at their church before the ceremony.
I wanted Bree and her mom to enjoy some relative privacy as Bree put on her wedding gown for the last time. I asked all of the bridesmaids to step into the adjoining room.
After Bree put on her finishing touches, I surprised the bridesmaids with their own first look! This is such a special, personal moment for all of the bridesmaids before the craziness of the day 🙂
Bree and her wedding party are so incredibly close. Their enthusiasm and love for one another kept the celebration going all day and night!
Bree’s veil was her “something borrowed” from her sister! I loved this moment they had together putting the finished touches on Bree’s bridal look before the ceremony 🙂
After the ceremony we headed to the WWI Memorial for wedding party photos! The drive to/from Leawood gave the wedding party some time to celebrate together.
Bree & Jake both have large families that live out of town. They selected the Embassy Suites as their reception venue since it had enough room for not only the party but for guests to stay the night as well.
Congratulations to Mr. & Mrs. Rhodes!!
Your wedding was the absolute BEST party and I know your lives together will be filled with just as much family, laughter, and fun!
