Brittany & Jonah’s big day was so magical to be a part of! In all of my years as a wedding photographer, I’ve truly never seen a day like it. And I just love that Brittany & Jonah were able to create a day so truly unique to them!
Brittany & Jonah both started their mornings at The President Hotel in downtown Kansas City. While in the same spot – on the same floor! – their mornings looked quite different 😉 Brittany and her crew enjoyed a quiet, elegant morning in luxurious silk pajamas sipping mimosas in between beauty treatments. The men? They spent the morning in their KSU gear cheering on their alma mater in the Big 12 Championship game! The silver lining? The game ended (in victory!) just minutes before the crew was supposed to get dressed for wedding portraits.
With the game behind them, it was time to focus on Brittany & Jonah’s big day! After their first look, the nearly weds headed to Crown Center with their crew for portraits. Brittany & Jonah’s wedding party was filled to the brim with siblings and close family members, so it’s easy to see where their priority lies. Family means the world to this couple, and I can’t wait to see how their only family grows in the coming years!
After portraits downtown, Brittany & Jonah and their crew headed to Our Lady of Perpetual Help for additional portraits before their ceremony. This is one of Kansas City’s most beautiful and iconic churches. I’ve never had the pleasure of photographing outside of it, and I loved how it turned out!
After a lovely ceremony, it was time to celebrate! Brittany & Jonah’s romantic holiday vision came to life beautifully inside the President Hotel’s ballroom. Each guest was treated to an ornament at their seat, along with personalized menus. But what we really need to talk about? THE CAKE! This show-stopping 5-tier masterpiece was a true stunner! And it was delicious too 🙂
Brittany & Jonah’s reception was the first time I had the pleasure of hearing The Crossroad Sound play and they were phenomenal! They kept B&J’s dance floor packed all night long.
I so loved getting to be a part of this beautiful wedding day! Brittany & Jonah’s friends and family made the day extra special, and it was a joy to capture it all 🙂
A HUGE thank you to the team that made this day amazing!
