On Saturday Chase & Pranith pulled out all of the stops to celebrate their wedding almost nine years in the making. The two actually met in Las Vegas while living in separate cities (what are the odds??) Together they’ve shared cross-country moves, major wins, and major life changes ever since. Lucky for me they settled in Kansas City a few years ago with their fur baby Phoebe and they chose to celebrate their wedding here!

Something I loved so much about Chase & Pranith’s celebration was their careful consideration for every detail. They opted to hold a private town hall ceremony the Friday before their reception with just their families in attendance. Their Saturday reception was equally intimate, boasting a guest list of only 50 of their dearest friends & family.

But before the party could start, we had so much fun capturing the day’s details and creating some stunning portraits around Hotel Kansas City and the Kauffman Center. I could photograph these two (and their friends!) all day long. They are just so much fun to spend time with!

And somehow their reception topped even Chase & Pranith’s portraits. WOW did they throw one hell of a party for their guests! Everyone was treated to a delicious multi-course meal set under a canopy of candlelight and beautiful aromatic flowers. Chase & Pranith’s dearest friends shared a toast, along with Pranith’s sister Shehani. After dinner everyone danced the night away to one of the best playlists I’ve heard in a long time. (If you’re into 2000s pop ballads, this was the dance floor for you!)

You’ve just got to soak in every detail of this epic wedding day. Cheers!
