And what better way to welcome fall than to celebrate Kellyanne & Kevin’s engagement? You might recall that I got to capture their proposal back in May, and it was so good to reconnect with these two (and sweet boy Mason!) to keep the celebration going!

These lovebirds are two are the busiest of bees right now (think: selling one house, closing on another, meeting major work deadlines, and oh planning a wedding). But there’s nothing like an engagement session to help you hit pause, step back, and soak these moments in 🙂 After all, you’ll be married for decades, but you only get to call each other “fiancé” for a few months. That’s definitely something to celebrate!

It may not have felt like fall for Kellyanne & Kevin’s engagement session on Wednesday (hello 90 degrees in October??), but it sure looked like it!

Our first stop for Kellyanne & Kevin’s engagement session was the Kauffman Center. This gorgeous Kansas City icon is one of my favorite spots in the city! And not just because of its architecture 😉 Nestled on the south side of this building is pure magic. Just wait til you see it!

Kellyanne & Kevin take autumnal awareness to a new level! I’m working on my fall/winter engagement session guide (which I can’t wait to share soon!) Kellyanne arrived to our first photo location last night looking like she’d walked right out of my guide! I literally gasped with glee when I saw her beautiful skirt and ruffly little mock-neck. And let’s not forget about Kevin and his dapper ensemble too!

the beacon lounge at power & light

Our second stop was the Beacon Lounge at the Power & Light Building. This space holds a special place in Kellyanne & Kevin’s hearts. It’s where Kevin first lived when these two met and started dating. It’s where so many of their earliest memories were made!

I just love the romance and drama that this space creates. It was the perfect backdrop to close out Kellyanne & Kevin’s engagement session!
