If you’re searching for ideas on how to have the most perfectly styled and executed downtown elopement, well, you’re looking at it 😉

I absolutely loved getting to capture Paige & Keaton’s wedding celebration! True to form, these two planned a Thursday celebration. Initially they envisioned a courthouse elopement, but their vision quickly expanded when they realized how many of their friends they’d want to be a part of the fun. So they created the perfect mix of both!

Paige & Keaton both got ready separately at the 21C hotel in downtown Kansas City. They shared an emotional first look complete with private vows read to each other. Then it was time to hit the streets and capture couple’s portraits as fun-loving and romantic as these two high school sweethearts. P&K live in Chicago, so I wanted to create a similar vibe for their wedding portraits and downtown KC has some perfect spots!

We eventually made our way to The Harlow where Paige & Keaton’s families had created a lovely ceremony and reception space for them. Paige is all about the neutrals, and their decor was both modern and romantic. The best part, though? P&K’s dog Ollie was their ring bearer! This little nugget took his job very seriously 🙂

After the ceremony, Paige & Keaton headed to a friend’s loft for a private cocktail hour after capturing a few final sunset portraits downtown! And then it was time to dance the night away! Paige was a dancer at K-State, so you know the Wabash dance was a part of the fun. At the very end of the night, Paige & Keaton shared a final private dance together before exiting in style with a bubble bon voyage!

Paige & Keaton’s love for each other and their dearest friends & family was a joy to witness and capture. And I love how steadfastly they kept their wedding day unique and true to them. Check out a few of my favorite highlights from their day!
