Their White Iron Ridge wedding day was an absolute dream, pure and simple. From Grace & James’ tearful first look, to their oh-so-fun wedding party, to their friends and family that kept the dance floor hopping, to every little detail that was meticulously planned and brought together. (And wow were there a lot of details!)
Grace found so many ways to incorporate her family’s legacy into different parts of the day. Like me, Grace understands – and appreciates! – that the delight is in these details. Her grandmother’s candlesticks adorned the head table, which also featured a tablecloth sewn by Grace and her mother! She also wore her great-grandmother’s bracelet, who is also her namesake. (Do you see how many generations are so beautifully woven into this story?) And Grace wasn’t the only person with meaningful representation. James’ best friend was the couple’s officiant. That is a special connection they will share forever.
Grace & James also managed to fill the day with chances to connect with their guests. At different parts of the reception you could spot them taking a quiet moment to smoke celebratory cigars, or greeting guests around the s’mores bar (oh yes!) or dancing to Lost Wax together on the dance floor.
I just loved getting to spend the day celebrating with Grace & James. And I know their guests had just as much fun as they did!
A HUGE thank you to the team that made this day extra flawless!
