Fall weddings have a magic all their own, and Shandis & Jeff’s colorful vintage-inspired celebration at the historic Loose Mansion was nothing short of enchanting. From the moment you step into the venue, the vintage charm of the historic home seems to transport you to a bygone era. Shandis & Jeff leaned into this timeless setting, infusing it with rich, colorful florals that brought an autumnal glow to every corner. From intricate antique details to the warmth of family gathered close, their day was a perfect blend of history and heart. Above all, their focus on creating core memories with loved ones made every moment feel extra special.

Pre-Ceremony

The day began with both Shandis & Jeff getting ready at Loose Mansion, savoring the excitement of the day to come. Their private first look on the terrace was nothing short of magical, with the stately mansion as their backdrop. Afterward, the nearly-weds made their way to the Nelson-Atkins Museum for portraits with their nearest and dearest, followed by a few quiet moments alone for their own dreamy portraits. The cooling temperatures of autumn and Kansas City’s iconic landmarks were the perfect canvas for their joy and love to shine.

Ceremony & Reception

Back at Loose Mansion, the intimate parlor set the stage for a deeply personal ceremony, where their promises to one another brought tears and smiles alike. As the parlor was transformed into a reception space, the celebration came alive with vintage-inspired decor and heartfelt toasts from loved ones. Their first dance under the glow of the mansion’s chandeliers felt like a scene from a classic romance. From start to finish, their fall wedding was a beautiful reminder of how meaningful details and intentional moments come together create memories to treasure forever.
