Third time is a charm for Ellie & RJ! November 18 was this couple’s third attempt to schedule their engagement session! All they wanted was to capture their portraits surrounded by fall’s beautiful foliage, but boy did Mother Nature make it difficult for them.

On their first scheduled date, it rained. On their second, it was snowing, windy, and below freezing. But their third date was just right 😉

But this session was well worth the wait. As we pulled up to Loose Park for the first session location, Ellie & RJ had the biggest smiles on their faces (and the cutest pups in tow)! Immediately from the first photos you could sense this couple’s ease in front of the camera and natural way of loving on each other. I knew right away that this was going to be a fun evening 🙂

It wasn’t until we were well into the session that they admitted that this week had been crazy busy between moving homes and work! But you’d never have known it! I think Ellie & RJ are incapable of carrying stress or tension. At least not any that they show. They’re just such an easygoing couple and I love ’em for it.
