At long last, Lauren & Patrick are married! This beautiful celebration was a long time coming, and Lauren & Patrick pulled out all the stops on their big day!

The President Hotel was a no-brainer choice for their reception venue. When Lauren & Patrick lived in Kansas City, they spent many a (late) night at The Drum Room, the hotel’s vintage bar. The couple leaned into the vintage vibes of the hotel as inspiration for the rest of their wedding day aesthetic. Lauren wanted the day to feel classic, romantic, and elegant, with a touch of fall brought in by her emerald gem tone color palette.

Lauren & Patrick spent the morning getting ready separately at The President before heading separately to Church of the Ascension for their Catholic ceremony. Lauren & Patrick shared their first look from across the aisle before sharing their vows. After the ceremony, they enjoyed a bubble bon voyage from all of their guests before heading to the Nelson-Atkins Museum for portraits with their fun-loving wedding party.

After portraits, Lauren & Patrick made sure to carve out some quiet time during cocktail hour. In fact, they enjoyed their own private cocktail hour in their empty reception space before guests were allowed inside! I love that they prioritized this quality time together on their wedding day 🙂

Lauren & Patrick’s reception was filled with delicious food, a wonderful toast from Lauren’s father, and lots of twirls on the dance floor. These two don’t strike me as a couple that shies away from a dance floor, and they helped keep theirs packed all night long!
