Congratulations to Mr. & Mrs. Henke, the newest BPP couple to tie the knot! Their wedding day was a beautiful celebration that spanned the city from north to south! We began the day getting pampered and dressed at their venue before their intimate Catholic ceremony. From there, we traveled north to the Kauffman Center and the National WWI Memorial for portraits. The celebration ended where it began, this time as newlyweds!
Jessica & Davin share a constant and steady love built on a foundation of friendship. You see, these two began as close friend in high school! Then, during their senior year, they decided that friendship wasn’t enough began dating. And on Saturday, they celebrated their greatest milestone to date: transforming their friendship into their marriage!
A HUGE thank you to the team that made this day extra beautiful!

Both the bridesmaids and groomsmen got ready in separate rooms at their venue.
As a teacher, Jessica is a master at multi-tasking 🙂
Jessica & Davin opted to see each other before their ceremony so they could take a moment to exchange gifts and read letters written to each other.
Our first photo stop was the incomparable Kauffman Center! This iconic KC landmark is one of my absolute favorite stops for photos.
Jessica’s bridesmaids comprise the things she holds most dear: childhood friendships, family, and fellow educators. Some people just have that ability to make anyone in their lives feel welcome and valued, and Jessica is one of those people. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Davin asked each of his groomsmen to pick their own colorful socks to wear. From avocados to Marvel characters, these socks ran the gamut!
This. Ivy. WALL!!
Our second stop was the National WWI Memorial, another KC classic.
Jessica & Davin’s decor incorporated organic greenery and pastel hues into Town Squares rustic space.
Shea, Jessica’s matron of honor, said it best during her toast: “Love is a friendship on fire.”
Jessica & Davin have built a beautiful marriage on the foundation of their friendship. They’ve literally grown up together and celebrated countless milestones together. But Saturday’s milestone was the greatest one yet!
Thank you for trusting my to capture your beautiful wedding day!
