Caitlin & Adam’s engagement session on Monday night was sheer perfection! We could not have asked for a more lovely evening to spend together exploring the Nelson-Atkins Museum and the WWI Memorial.
Their session was the first time I ever got to meet Caitlin & Adam in person (we’d only ever Zoomed before!) and I was glad to see how quickly we fell into a rhythm together. We bonded over our mutual love for our pups (Scout joined us for a few portraits early on!), and I learned that Adam I share a special love for Chipotle!
The Nelson-Atkin’s sculpture garden was unusually empty for such a beautiful evening. We got to capture a variety of beautiful portraits across the entire property. And we even included their pup Scout in some portraits! You know how much I love including pups in engagement and wedding day portraits. If we’d had Nora at that time in our lives, you better believe Vince and I would have included her in as many portraits as possible!
Scout is one handsome good boi, and he did a great job during his 15 minutes of fame in front of the camera 🙂
I’m so very excited for your wedding next spring at Hawthorne House! It’s going to be absolutely stunning with Pretty + Planned bringing it all together!
