Well hello there!

Congratulations!! You’re getting married! Let the fun begin 🙂

Your wedding is its own well-crafted little love story. It has a beginning, a middle, and a happily ever sparkler send-off. It’s your chance to set the scene and tell your personal love story to your friends and family in attendance. Every detail – the flowers, food, vows, venue, and everything in between – all help bring that story to life.

And that is why I am a wedding photographer: There are few things I enjoy more than the challenge, creativity and joy that comes from partnering with real-life, down-to-earth, fun-loving couples to help tell their story. Magic happens when we capture your unique details, traditions, and special shared moments for you to remember for the rest of your lives together.

And just like that, they’re Mr. & Mrs.! Maggie & Devin make life look effortless, and their wedding day was no exception. Part of what makes their lives effortless is the steadfast love and support of their families. Yesterday was a true testament to the families that brought Maggie & Devin this far, and where together they’ll go. Yesterday these families laughed, hugged, remembered loved ones far away, and celebrated the future. Weddings have a way of making us simultaneously reflect on the past and look forward to the future. That’s what makes them such important and timeless celebrations in our lives. Sunset photos like this are obviously stunning but they're RARE! Think of all the things that have to fall into place: First, you have to schedule your engagement session near sunset (as I encourage all of my couples to do). Next, we have to have ~just~ the right clouds on the exact evening of your session. And third, you gotta be in a part of the city that give you uninterrupted views of the skyline! I still can't get over how colorful and just plain FUN Kaetlin's bouquet was! It had so many flowers that I never imagined would work well in a bouquet. Now that school has started, I've mentally turned the page to fall. (And yes I know it was 95 degrees yesterday in KC...) Does anyone else do this?
