Two years and three wedding dates later, Megan & Micah finally got to celebrate the wedding day of their dreams!!

This past Saturday was a simply spectacular day from start to finish. Megan & Micah both got ready at Indian Hills Country Club before their first look. Then we headed to the Nelson-Atkins Museum for their portraits. But we didn’t just capture any old portraits at the Nelson. We got to go INSIDE!! (Seriously this is so rare and so cool. You just gotta the beauty we captured!)

Megan’s family kindly accessed permission for us to photograph inside the Rozzelle Court, the grand staircase, and a few sentimental galleries inside the museum. I have photographed at the Nelson dozens of times, but never have I ever had permission to professionally photograph inside the museum. So this was an extra special treat, especially on such a chilly day!

After we zoomed through the museum we headed outside to capture some gorgeous fall portraits before the sun set. Megan & Micah are total naturals in front of the camera, and their love and affection for each other shines through. We captured such a beautiful variety of portraits in just an hour!

After portraits we headed back to Indian Hills for Megan & Micah’s wedding ceremony set under the stars. We closed the evening with heartfelt toasts, Megan & Micah’s first dance, and awesome entertainment by the Lost Wax band. I closed the evening in the BEST fashion capturing the Hora dance!

Saturday was truly an epic day that I won’t forget soon. It was an honor to be a part of this celebration that was years in the making!
