Valerie & Alex’s stunning fall wedding on Saturday was the stuff of fairy tales!
Valerie dreamed up an elegant fall palette to pair with the English Barn’s countryside backdrop. Fall’s foliage was just beginning to show, and the bridesmaid’s burgundy gowns brought that extra pop of color to bring everything together!
Valerie & Alex chose to reserve their first look for the altar. That meant that both Valerie & Alex got extra time with their respective wedding parties before the ceremony! After the ceremony, the couple got to spend time together with their families during family formal portraits. Then we brought the wedding party together for a few moments of celebrating before Valerie & Alex finally got to spend some time together for their much-awaited newlywed portraits!
The English Barn’s extensive property provides a stunning variety for stunning portrait spots. And boy did we take advantage of them all! Valerie & Alex radiant love and happiness from within, and it’s easy to see in their portraits. They are just pure joy to photograph – I could do it all day if they’d let me! I especially LOVE their pea gravel driveway lined with vintage streetlights and landscaping.
Fate brought Valerie & Alex together years ago (with a little help from the Marching Jayhawks!) and now they get to spend forever together. Cheers to these newlyweds!
A HUGE thank you to the team that made this day extra wonderful!
